Robe or bathrobe

For after the shower, wrap up at home or put it on while you get ready and put on your makeup (the latter is my favorite option), a dressing gown or bathrobe doesn't hurt. The kimonos or negligees, being finer, I would have them as a second option for the warmer times.

We are not here to assess whether it is better to sleep with or without pajamas: each person has their preferences and they are all valid. However, it is convenient to have pajamas in our closet for the colder months, or in case we have to sleep away from home, or to put them on and be more comfortable when we are in ours, or even to offer them to a friend who comes to spend the night. Who knows!

There may be disagreement about the use of shapewear, popularly known as girdles, and the need to have one in our possession. Once again, we appeal to the freedom of choice of each person. Just because you have these clothes in your closet doesn't mean you're obliged to always wear them, much less that you want to perpetuate stereotypes or body canons. The truth is that underwear plays an important role in how the clothes that we later put on top of it look, so there are solutions for everything: from using simple high-waisted panties to pick up the belly area a little more to a girdle that does the same thing, only with a greater impact on that same area. The first would be a more everyday garment and the second is called a shaper, but in both cases the same result is sought.

We live in an era in which there are fewer and fewer taboos on this type of garment, and thanks in part to celebrities, it seems that the use of shapewear or shapewear is becoming normalized, regardless of our physical constitution. So again, it's good to have one so you don't get caught off guard; however, your choice and what you feel best about is what counts and no one else has to care.
